Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, jointly with the STB office in South Africa today hosted a total of 114 travel trade representatives and key members of the media at the Oyster Box hotel in Durban for the “Seychelles and Beyond” presentation. Participants at the event had the opportunity to learn more about the Air Seychelles product and its growing network as well as destination Seychelles through an interactive presentation conducted by the airlines General Sales Agent based in South Africa, Megan Wilson and STB Manager for South Africa, Lena Hoareau. The event included travel agencies and tour operators such as Club Travel, Flightcentre, Thompsons Holidays, One Stop, Serendipity, Sure Travel, Harvey World Travel, Pentravel, e-Travel and media outlets such as travel trade media, Daily News, The Umhlanga and Estates Magazine and others. On behalf of Air Seychelles, the event was attended by the airlines’ GM for Sales, Distribution and Corporate Affairs, Maja Gedosev, Head of International Sales, Cindy Vidot and Internal Communications Manager, Sheryl Barra. The event forms part of the planned activities being organized ahead of the launch of twice weekly flights between Seychelles and Durban set to commence on 30 March.
