The flights have been scheduled between Friday 12 and Monday 15 August, providing an additional 480 seats, to facilitate travel for tourists and residents wishing to attend the annual religious celebration.
Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles said: “The Feast of Assumption is an important cultural event in the national calendar that attracts hundreds of people every year.
“We are delighted to meet the high travel demand for the festival, especially from residents of Mahé, by operating 15 additional flights over and above our expanded summer domestic program which already had an additional 84 services introduced.
“These flights are quick, taking only 15 minutes on our Twin Otter aircraft, and have been conveniently timed for the mid to late afternoon on all four days.”
