Air Seychelles meet with travel and trade partners at new sales office location
Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles has today hosted representatives from the local travel trade including key members of the airline in recognition of their continuous support and cooperation.
The event which was held at the new Victoria Sales Office located in The Quadrant building also marked the official opening of the new facility. The Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, Didier Dogley and the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Remco Althuis, participated in the official ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new office features a bespoke interior design, and includes four booking counters, two self-service kiosks in addition to the Call Centre facility serviced by a dedicated team of 13 experienced sales professionals.
Remco Althuis, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles said: “We are delighted to open the Sales Office in the commercial center of Victoria to provide better access to the general public and to further improve the wide range of services we offer.
“As we work closely with the travel trade representatives, we have also use this opportunity to introduce them to the new facility in addition to meeting with our dedicated sales team.”
The occasion also provided representatives from the travel trade the chance to meet with the Air Seychelles new Chief Commercial Officer, Charles Johnson throughout a networking session.
Charles Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Seychelles said: “The success of the flights and services we offer at Air Seychelles relies on the continuous support of the DMCs and travel agents we work with.
“With the recent addition of extra flights between Seychelles and Johannesburg, we look forward to the continued dedication from the travel trade, and I would like to express my gratitude to them for their excellent support.”
Respecting the religious traditions of Seychelles, during the event the office was blessed by Father Danny Elizabeth and Father David Alcindor representing the interfaith community of Seychelles.
