Qualifications and skills
  • Graduate of a post-secondary institution, with IGCSE/O’ Level certificates or equivalent, as a minimum qualification
  • 1 to 2 years’ work experience in a related/similar role (hospitality/service industry, ideally in a Food and Beverage role) preferred
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Formal qualification in a related field an added advantage
  • Excellent customer service skills- Possesses a customer-focused attitude with a positive 'can do’ approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Pleasant disposition with a mature and courteous approach
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary
  • Prepare the lounge to receive guests, ensuring orderliness and cleanliness. Tidy up the lounge and discard and replenish the magazine and newspaper racks.
  • Accurately complete all required company documentation.
  • Provide first-class customer services to the Lounge’s guests. Ensure that the same level of service is provided during flight delays.
  • Ensure the professional presentation and service of food and beverages in compliance with the stipulated standards.
  • Maintain an exceptional standard of product knowledge to promote the lounge products.
  • Place orders for supplies and record deliveries of supplies.
  • Anticipate the needs of lounge guests and note all special requests, likes and dislikes. Ensure that all reasonable requests are carried out.
  • Assist guests with a diverse range of enquiries.
