Air Seychelles introduces Seybrew on board flights
Air Seychelles has as of Saturday 01 April 2023, introduced the iconic Seybrew lager beer on all its flights. This makes the popular and highly requested local beverage, the beer of choice for the national carrier going forward.
SeyBrew, which is the flagship brand of Seychelles Breweries Ltd, was produced for the first time in June 1972 and is considered the favourite beer of the islands. The beer is brewed with the finest malt and hops imported from Europe, Australia, and South Africa and has become a staple over generations.
Conor Neiland, Managing Director for Seychelles Breweries Ltd comments, “I’m delighted that we’ve now started to serve our National Beer on our National Carrier – this is something that we’ve wanted to achieve for a very long time. Every Seychellois returning home or tourist holidaying in Seychelles can now start, and finish, their visit to the Islands with a can of fresh, cold Seybrew. I would like to thank Air Seychelles for their support in making this happen.”
Acting Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles, Sandy Benoiton explains, “Seeing as Air Seychelles is the national airline, it is only fitting that we offer our passengers the best local products available on the market. The award winning Seybrew has been a firm favourite across the nation for so many years and we are thrilled to have been able to make it available for our guests, while also supporting the national brewery of course."
The beer will be available in 300ml cans.
