Qualifications and skills
- Graduate of post-secondary institution in culinary arts.
- 2 years’ experience in a related/similar role (hospitality/service industry).
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good organizational, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Pleasant disposition with a mature and courteous approach.
- Excellent grooming standards.

Summary
- Prepare and cook a variety of high quality dishes, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages, tailored to the specific needs of lounge guests.
- Monitor and manage kitchen supplies and inventory, order ingredients and kitchen equipment as needed while minimizing waste and ensuring timely stock rotation.
- Collaborate with the Lounge Managers and the Guest Experience Manager to plan and develop the menu, ensuring it aligns with the lounges’ brand and meet guests’ preferences. Adapt menus for seasonal changes or specific dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food produced is of the highest quality and consistently meets established standards. Conduct regular taste tests and maintain quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and health guidelines are maintained at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area.
- Coordinate special meals for guests or events hosted in the lounge, ensuring that these meals meet the highest standards of quality.
